Weekend with the Boghs

I have stayed with my chillins' a couple of times over the past couple of months. I have loved it! They truly make me so happy! It is truly a party all weekend long. Dev and I have become best friends. We can talk for hours. It is nice to know that I have somebody to talk to. Jax is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. I love walking in the door and having him run and give you a giant bear hug. Nothing makes me happier.

So I stayed with them the night before Halloween. So of course we had to dress up to go and carve pumpkins at gege and pops. Aren't we creative? Jax was such a great sport, and made a cute little girl!!
Easton and Jax are good buddies so cute little E comes and stays with me.
Yup, I made this amazing fort. Aren't you all proud of me? Playing with Jax and E brings out the kid in me. I love it!!
I am grateful to still watch my chillins' every now and then. I love them like they are my own, and am grateful for every chance I get to be with them!!

Girls Night Out!!

Last month we had a girls night with my work friends. It was such a blast!! We went and bought wigs, and then went to dinner! It was hilarious to watch peoples faces as they saw us. Especially when we walked into dinner. Everybody kept asking what the special occasion was so we decided to tell them I was getting hitched. After we ate dinner we went "RUNNING". There is never a dull moment with these girls.
Christa, Maren, Leslie, Jodi, and Me (it was really weird having blonde hair again)
After we came to my house and played Just Dance. I forget how fun that game is.

I am truly grateful to work with such great girls. They make it worth going to work, and working all night long. I can truly call them my family. They are always looking out for me. I feel like I have tons of moms who support me, and love me for who I am. I am truly blessed!

Fun at Work

Can I just tell you that I love who I work with. We always have such a fun time. I am known as the prankster at work. Maren and I are always trying to find somebody to scare. Well the other night we got this lovely box out and I hid in it, and scared cute Kelsey who is a newer nurse by grabbing her leg as she walked by. Then security came up and I did the same thing. He jumped so bad, but didn't think it was to funny. I sure got the evil eye, but it was sure worth it. Then Jodi got in the box, and totally scared our supervisor Brent. He screamed like a little girl. It was a riot. Oh the fun times we have when we don't have any patients. There is never a dull moment on L&D!!

Whitt FHE

The Whitts have started a new tradition. On the fourth Monday of each month we get together and have family night. It is such a blast! This month we did it in my grandparents backyard. We roasted mallows, played games, and then Shea gave an amazing lesson on Testimonies. Then asked some of us to bear our testimonies. The spirit was so strong. I am truly lucky to be blessed with such an amazing family who is constantly striving to do there best! There are all such great examples to me! I love each and everyone of them!!
(Thanks Taisy for the pictures)

Saratoga Springs Triathlon

I completed another triathlon on Saturday, August 20. It was my first open water tri. It was very difficult, but well worth it.

The swim was 600 meters. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. The water was so rough, and so scary. I literally thought I was going to drown. There were times where I wanted to quit, but am so proud of myself for finishing.

Getting ready for the BIKE! Pam my dear friend who is such an inspiration to me waited for me! My transitions were so much better this time!
The bike is my favorite part. It was twelve miles, and was such a blast!!
Next comes the run which is 3 miles! I was pretty dang tired at this point. I thought I was done with the run when little did I realize I still had a mile left. Luckily my dad ran up the hill with me and gave me the extra boost that I needed!!
So this picture is quite cool!! This is my friend Michael who kicked my trash. So we really aren't running together right here, but my grandpa is pretty amazing!!
Michael and I at the finish... I wasn't going to do this tri, but he talked me into it which I am really grateful that he did!! He did so great! Especially on the swim. He actually got the second best time on the swim. Way to go DUDE!
The Kings and the Whitts. We were both so lucky to have an amazing crowd to cheer us on. It is my favorite part of the race to see the finish line in site, and to hear all my family cheering me on. I truly am so blessed! My grandparents were with us as well, but I didn't have a picture of them. Thanks everybody for the support, and thanks to my grandpa and Shea for the pictures! What great photographers they are! My time was 1:30 minutes. I beat my last time, and the swim was double the length this time. So I was really proud of myself!! I am so grateful that my body allows me to do hard things!

Lake Powell

So I am a little behind in my blogging! My family went to Lake Powell with the Todd Whitt clan. We had such a blast! I loved every minute of it! There truly is no place like Powell. Hanging out all day in the SUN with the people you love is a little bit of Heaven on Earth!!

My two amazing parents who are so in LOVE!! Thanks for the fun trip!
Our Boat
Cliff jumping is my favorite. I always get so nervous right before I jump, and I still get butterfly's in my stomach. It is worth it though!
Meg, Me, Ryne, E (it is sad when my 9 year old brother jumps higher then I do), Kyle, J, and Tyler
These tubes were a new purchase this year. Todd had one as well. So they pulled them together. My dad still scares me on the tube, and gives us one heck of a ride.
We broke a WORLD RECORD okay probably not, but how cool is it that we got five wake boarders up at the same time. It was definitely not easy, but so fun!!
J, Kyle, Shea, me, and Meg

We parked the houseboat at Cookie Jar, and one day we got the bright idea to hike clear up to the top. It was not as easy as it looked, and was quite the hike. We sure made it though.
Cookie Jar
On the way down a storm was coming in. So Kyle and J ran down to make sure everything was tied down. Well J slipped and almost fell off a ledge, and got quite the battle wounds.
Okay, so you would look this would be easy! Ha well me and Dani learned that it was quite the opposite. We got really good at going into circles though, and laughed so dang hard!

Trick skis are my new favorite!! I was the first one to try them. I literally have never shacked so bad in my life. I literally had no control. Between the shacking, and the laughing I was quite good ha! The hat made it all better as well!
J and E
Meg and I
Little E killin it on the board
KJ gettin it done
Mom still has it
Lets just say I can get up, but then I don't know what I am doing!! It is sure fun though, and quite the challenge!
J wreckin hard after a sweet cut

This was after a lightening storm. Notice our hair! Yeah, that is static not wind. Kind of creepy right!
Grahm and Dani... Grahm is so dang cute, and loved swimming in the water!!
And you wonder where I get it ha ha!!

So J decided to be super cool and buy these goggles for when he skied and tubed!! Doesn't he look like a stud?
Todd and Annie
Cute E
Me and my beautiful mom!!
I am truly fortunate to have such an amazing family, and am truly lucky to get to go to Lake Powell. It truly brings our family closer together. It is chance that we can get away from the real world, and just be with those that we love. Thanks for the fun trip Whitts!
