Gege and Pops 50th Wedding Anniversary

We threw a surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary party for Gege and Pop.  It was such a fun night.  So many family and friends came to celebrate with us.  So many people love my sweet grandparents, but not as much as I do.  I am so grateful for them, and there love that they constantly show me.  They have been my biggest fans throughout my whole life.  They have showed me what true love is, and how to have a great marriage.  I love them, and am so grateful that we got to celebrate this special day with them.
Shea made this beautiful cake for them.  They cut the cake tonight just like they did on their wedding day.  After 50 years they still smashed cake in each others faces.  Now that is true love!

Kirby's Wedding

Sister Kirby was one of my Favorite Companions.  We were Trail Center Leaders together/Companions for 4 transfers.  We went through a lot together.  I will forever be grateful for her, and the many things that she taught me.  We will forever be sisters.

I had the opportunity to travel to Rexburg, Idaho to go to her wedding.  It was definitely a day that I would never miss.  I was so grateful that I got to see so many other people that I loved as well.  My mission friends will always be my second family.

I am so proud of Kirbs for getting married in the temple, and being sealed for all time and eternity to Mark.  It was an incredible experience to be able to be in the sealing room with them as they were sealed. In the temple I was reminded of the importance of going to the temple regularly so that we can be reminded of the covenants that we have made.  They were promised that as they live their covenants they will be eternally happy.  I know that I will be eternally happy as well as I live my covenants.   I am so grateful for the gospel and the blessings that it brings to me each and every day.  I am grateful for my parents and their decision to get married in the temple so that my family could be together forever.  I hope that I can continue to live the gospel and prepare myself to be sealed to my eternal family one day.

Devyn's Wedding

My bestest friend in the whole world got married today.  I could not be more excited and happy for Dev.  Today was such a beautiful day.  She looked stunning.  I was able to be her maid of honor, and let me tell you it was quite the honor.  The tears just rolled down my face as she walked down the isle.  Here was this little girl that I used to watch getting married to someone that she loves.  I am so proud of her.  Seeing her so happy made me so happy.
Gege did her flowers.  They were absolutely beautiful.  She is a woman of many talents.

I started dating Trevor aka Elder Hadfield who I served with.  Him and Dev were really good friends so he got to be at the wedding with me.  He is so good to me, and makes me really happy. Plus, he was an awesome missionary!!  He hates to dance, but knows that I love it, and so he asked me to dance.  It made my whole night.  I was glad that he could spend the night with me as well.  We will see where this one takes me.

The highlight of the night was when Dev told me that in a year she will be in the temple being sealed for all time and eternity.  That will be a day to really celebrate.  I am so proud of her, and the decisions, and goals that she has made for herself.  I love her, and can't wait to see where life takes them.  One year from today will be an incredible day!!!

Elder Whittaker is off to CHANGE THE WORLD

This kid is going to make an incredible missionary.  I am so excited and proud of him.  The people of Mexico as so lucky to have to him.

J spent the afternoon with all of his buddies.  They all came over to the house, and shared memories that they have had with eachother.  You could hear them in our basement laughing, crying, then laughing some more.  This is a true friendship that these boys have.  I haven't ever seen anything like it before.  They all went outside to say their goodbyes and made this awesome little huddle, and literally sobbed their eyes out.  I have never seen so many boys crying before. It was awesome to see how much they loved my brother.  He truly is such a great example to everyone.

All of the worthy Priesthood Holders who stood in the circle to set him apart as a Missionary.  The blessings was so powerful.  It was so neat to be able to hear of all of the blessings that he and also my family would receive from him being an obedient missionary.  He was promised that he would be protected, and that he would be a faithful missionary.  I know that he will be an amazing missionary.

My parents have now sent 4 missionaries out.  They are so incredible, and have taught us all that we know.  None of us would be there if it wasn't for the sacrifices that they make for each of us each and every day, and also for their conversion to the gospel.  I am grateful for them and for teaching me how important the gospel is. Pretty neat that all of their children will serve missions.

This little boy was in tears all night.  It was so neat to be able to see how much he loves his brother even after all of the teasing.

I love this boy more then words can express.  Yes we have had our ups and our downs, but my love for him will never change.  He is the one who keeps us all going, and always gives us a good laugh.  He would always sleep with me because he knew I was scared at night.  He was my little protector.  He has been through some trials to get him to this point today, but I know that he is worthy to serve.  He knows and understands the Atonement, and because of that he will be an amazing missionary.

Sadly Jensen is Wyatts favorite, and this picture shows you why.  I will miss seeing these two play together.
Missionary: Someone who leaves their family for two years so that others can be with theirs for eternity.  We are so proud of you Elder Whittaker.

Easton receives the Priesthood

I can't believe my baby brother turned 12 today.  I remember the day that he was born.  My mom had promised me that I could be in the delivery room when he was born, but I was at Girls Camp and they didn't have cell phone service up there.  I was so bummed that I missed it.  It was an instant love the moment I got to hold him in my arms.  I can't imagine my life without him.  He is my little car dancing buddy.  He brings such a light to our family, and brings us all so much happiness.
I am so grateful  that all of the men in my life hold the Priesthood worthily.  I am grateful for the many blessings that it brings my family each and every day.

This little boy is such a great example to me.  He loves to pass the sacrament, and is always so willing and ready to use his priesthood.  He came to my talk, and was so bummed that he wasn't able to pass the sacrament in my ward.  Logan pulled some strings so that he was able to pass.  The kid was literally beaming. I have never seen him so excited!  What an example he is of always doing what the Lord has asked us to do.  He is always ready and willing to do whats right.  I hope that I can be better at living up to what the Lord expects of me.  Sure do love my little E.

Jensen's Farewell

I can't believe that this little kid is going on a mission.  Today he had his farewell.  He did an incredible job.  He bore such a powerful testimony.  He truly is going to be such an amazing missionary.  I am so excited for him to get to experience so many miracles, and come to truly understand the Atonement.  There is nothing greater then being a missionary.

This is his group of buddies.  Out of 11 boys 10 of them have their calls, and will be leaving within the next 4 months.  These boys are going to change the world.

What am I going to do without this crazy boy.
Yes we are crazy, but we LOVE each other so much.

I love this picture because it is such a typical moment with the Whitts.  Everything always ends with a wrestling match.  I love that even cute little Wyatt is in the middle of it.

I am so grateful for my family.  I honestly don't know what I would do without them.  I love the definition of a Missionary.  Missionary:  Someone who leaves their family for 2 years so that others can be with theirs for eternity.  I am grateful for Jensen and his sacrifice to go and serve the Lord for 2 years.  I can't wait to see the changes that he makes in his life.  I will forever be grateful for my mission and I know that he will feel the same way.

Returning home from Omaha Nebraska

After 18 months it was time to come home from what become my new home, Omaha Nebraska.  I never imagined how hard it would be to leave my mission.  I will forever be grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who knows me personally, and he knew that I needed to serve a mission.  I am grateful for him allowing me to go and serve in Omaha Nebraska.  I can't picture my life without my mission.  My mission taught me the importance of living the Gospel, and the joy that we receive as we live the gospel.  The Gospel is my life now, and I will forever be grateful for it.  What a blessing it was to share what brought me such joy to God's children in Omaha.  My mission was not about me, but in the end it was all for me.
Getting off the plane I had so many mixed emotions.  I didn't want to leave what became my new home, and those people who become my family, but I knew that this was God's plan for me.  I took my dear sweet time getting off the plane, and was so nervous to see my family.  The moment I saw them everything changed.  I am so grateful for my family, and the love and support that they showed me through my mission.  I love them more then words can express.  I am excited and ready to start this new chapter in my life.

I am excited and ready to see what Heavenly Father has in store for me in this new chapter in my life.  I have learned that as I do his will he will always take care of me.  I pray that I will be able to continue to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, and continue to grow and progress in this gospel.
