BOYS!!!

So I am officially on a BOYS STRIKE!! Let's just say that my dad was right and BOYS REALLY ARE PIGS!! It blows my mind the things boys say to me, and others. Everybody keeps telling me that there are good ones out there, but I think they are all hiding.

Here are some of the crazy things they say?

  • I love you and want to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you, but it's okay to cheat on you! Once is bad enough, but you fool me twice and I am no longer stupid, and realize you aren't worth my time.

  • So how is that class going that you FAILED as you laugh in my face.

  • I will only date a girl who is TALL, BLONDE, SKINNY, and CURVY. Well that leaves me out! See ya later!!

  • Did they not have any specials for a Boob Job for you on Black Friday?

  • I am just not attracted to you!! Thanks, I am glad you just told me I was ugly!!

  • How about I just diss your family right infront of you? Seeing as I have an amazing family that was the wrong thing to say. Your Loss....

  • A cute boy in my ward came and sat by me in Sacrament meeting, and then left and sat by a girl who was prettier then me after the sacrament. Yeah, I felt really great after that!

  • Your never going to get married because you take life seriously and don't have any fun!!!

  • Oh crap, I forgot my wallet again!! I guess your paying for my dinner yet AGAIN!

So there ya have it speaking from the mouth of PIGS!!

Nursing School

I have completed my FIRST semester of NURSING SCHOOL!! All of the hard work is finally paying off. I am loving being in school, and getting to learn how to become a nurse. I can't wait for the day that I am finished. I learned so much this semester. My classes were mental health, pharmacology, and nursing foundations. They were really tough, but I learned a lot. Finals week seems like a blur now! I slept, studied, and ate, slept, studied, and ate and on and on for a week straight!! I passed my classes though so it was all worth it. I loved going to clincal as well. I did my clinical's at Timpanogos hospital, Mt. Timp Hospital, Provo Rehab, Heritage, and The developmental center. It was fun to be able to follow a nurse around and practice the skills that I have been learning. One more semester and I will graduate with my LPN. I can't wait!!! My dream of becoming a nurse is coming true!!!!

Temple Square lights

The day after Thanksgiving my family always goes and sees the lights up at Temple Square. It is a great chance to start the Christmas holiday. To remember the true meaning of Christmas. To remember the birth of the Savior, his perfect example, and his atoning sacrifice for us. I truly am grateful for my Savior. I know that he is the light and the way for me to return back home. I am grateful that I have somebody who knows me better then myself and is always there to help me back to the path. I am grateful for Christmas time and the chance we get to remember him, and also to be able to serve those around us.
We always go to eat before we go see the lights. This year it was RUMBI. I love that place... Check out Jensen's face the older he gets the more he looks like Logan.
Dad, Pop, Gege, and Mom
KJ was rather grumpy because he didn't want to go to RUMBI ha. He says it never feels him up. The kid eats like a Horse, and is always hungry.
Mundy and I... Boy do I love this girl. She is sure great! I hope that her and my brother get married because I don't know what I would do without her.
Of course we have to ride the TRAX
KJ, Mundy, Pop, and I
Gege and J... I love this picture
The two greatest GRANDPARENTS.... Honestly Gege and Pop are as good as it gets. The love they have for us grandkids is endless. They support us in everything that we do, and love us no matter what!!
The WHITT Clan
Isn't the Temple so beautiful? I just love it! I can't wait for the day when I can be sealed there for all time and eternity. There is such a special spirit there as we see the lights that I love!! It makes me want to be better, and to strive to make it there one day!!

Black Friday Shopping

This Black Friday beats all the rest by far. We had such a fun time. We missed Kim this year and so we decided to name this little friend Kim, and took her everywhere we went. We took pictures everywhere with Kim. It was quite the riot, and kept us going all night long. (Sad to say all the pictures got erased.)
Kim and I at our first stop.... We went to Walmart, Mod Bod, Target, The Mall, Dennys, and Shoe Carnival
This is my retarded friend Tanner. We are the best of buds ha!! We ran into him at Mod Bod, and got quite the laugh. Tanner is the type of person to put a smile on your face, and is just so fun to be around. Sure love you my special friend Tanner.
Mandy, Me, and Shea
Shea and My mom
She was quite tired ha!! She is not used to being up all night long. Everywhere we would stop she would try to fall asleep. It was pretty dang funny (sadly those pictures got erased as well).

So the highlight of the night was when we went to Shoe Carnival. I was super tired so I sat in the car until they opened the door. They were giving out cards with $10 off and there was one lucky winner of $100. Guess who the lucky winner was? Yup, that would be me. I was stoked. I walked out of there with four new pair of shoes that are all adorable. Shea, was really mad at me ha because she sat in the cold and held our spot in line so being the nice sister that I am I bought her a pair as well. So we ended the night with a high. It was so fun!! We started shopping at 11 and got home at 7. It was a great day of shopping with some great deals!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I had a great Thanksgiving this year. I definitely missed the rest of my family, but was grateful for the ones I got to spend it with. The older I get the more I realize the importance of Thanksgiving. It's not just about the turkey, but so much more.

What I am grateful for
  • My amazing family
  • My two parents who support me in every aspect of my life. Who are so loving and caring for those around them, and who help me to strive to be a better person each and every day.
  • My education and the opportunity I have to learn and to one day become a nurse.
  • My brother who is such a huge example, and strives to be an amazing missionary.
  • My Job and the opportunity I have to witness a miracle each and every time I work.
  • The gospel of Jesus Christ, for my savior and his atoning sacrifice, Joseph Smith and for restoring the gospel, the Book of Mormon, the priesthood.
  • Icecream
  • Good Friends who make me laugh
  • The list could go on and on
I have so much to be thankful for!! I have such a great life. Yes, it comes with it's trials, but I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who continues to look after me each and every day.

Time out for Women

We started a new tradition this year of going to Time out for Women in Salt Lake. After a really bad break up it was just what I needed. I loved every bit of it. We listened to some really great speakers who brought in the spirit. I got to listen to one of my favorite speakers, Stephanie Nelson, who was amazing. She has had such a hard life, but still remains strong and faithful! She is such a great example, and has influenced so many peoples lives. I also got to be with three of my favorite people. We laughed until we literally cried. Time out for Women is something I can look forward to each year.
Saturday session before it started
Yes I am related even though I don't look like the three sisters

Gege and I on the TRAX
We rode the TRAX both days. Each day when they would announce the next stop Gege would do this. It was hilarious. We laughed about it all weekend.
Highlights
  • Christ has the ability to change anything.
  • God is not content to be a part of the audience. He wants to be the composer.
  • Our motivation to stay on the path comes not when we look at the path, but at the goal.
  • The Gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something.
  • We tend to pay more attention to the outside then on the inside.
  • The harder you try the worse it gets so try harder.
  • We become who we want to be by consistently becoming who we want to be.
  • It's up to us to make the decision to by happy.
  • We have all the tools to overcome our trials.
  • Choose to become me... ME is good enough
  • We don't get to judge others because we don't have the whole picture.
  • Don't you dare be the one thing that stands in your way.
  • Never loose site in the things you are supposed to do.
  • Face your doubts, stay on the course, and see the beauty that is waiting for you.
  • Choose to be the women God intended you to be.
I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to go to Time out for Women. I am so blessed to have the gospel. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to learn about the Gospel, and to strive to be better each and every day!!

Date Night!!

Shea and KJ set me up on a blind date. Well seeing how cool boys are he cancelled, but I have the best sister and brother in law. They decided to take me out on a date still. We had the best time. We went to dinner at Chilis, and then we went to trafalga.
They had a 3D movie that we watched... I just loved wearing the cool glasses personally.
Kyle Jamming out like usual.... Shea always lets me sit in the front seat because me and Kyle always dance in the car, and try to embarrass her. It is quite hilarious!! Especially when we are at a stop light and the car next to us starts jamming out with us, or laughing at us.
Shea, KJ, and I.... I truly am grateful for them in my life. They are always looking out for me, and always including me in there lives. We always have a blast, and end up laughing all night long.
We ended the night with a sleep over at there place. We watched a movie and of course KJ made me some popcorn. It was a lot of fun!! Thanks for making my day you two!! Sure do love you!!
