Fall is HERE!

Can you believe it.... FALL IS HERE!! I love this time of year. The weather is perfect, not to hot, but not to cold. And the best of all is it is so pretty!! I love watching the leaves turn colors! I drove through the Canyon the other day with my Roomies and it was absolutely gorgeous! I don't know if I could ever more away from Utah! I just love it here!

Cathy's Shower

The other night Linds and I put together a shower for Cathy. We got all the girls together and went to Brick Oven. We had such a fun night! Her and my uncle John are getting married this next Friday the 24th. We are all so excited for them!Me, Cathy, and Linds
Tayla, Tessa, Shea, Marnie, and Cathy

Dani and Grahm (isn't he just the cutest)

So funny story... I looked down the table to find Cari and Meg making these really weird faces and talking to each other! It was hilarious! Linds and I sat and watched them for a good five minutes before they realized we were watching them. We could not stop laughing! I sure do love these two!
Oh Tamzy just gets cuter everyday!! She is starting to get her own little personality and is just so dang cute!
Shea, Me, and my Mom
(Notice how much Shea and my Mom look alike)
We had such a fun night! I have to share a funny story though about sweet Annie! So we got to Brick Oven and they put us in the banquet room. There were two tables in the room. Not everyone was there so we were just introducing eachother before everyone got there. Well one thing you need to know about Annie is that she is so sweet! She is always trying to get to know everyone, and is really out going. So she went to this other table in the room and started introducing herself as Todd's Wife. She kept chatting and trying to get to know these six women. She then asked them how they knew Cathy. Well she soon found out that they were not with us, and didn't know Cathy. They were just having there own dinner. It was hilarious! We sure love you Annie. Thanks for the good Laugh!

9/11 A day we will never forget!

"Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)"

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day
Out in the yard with your wife and children
Working on some stage in LA
Did you stand there in shock at the site of
That black smoke rising against that blue sky
Did you shout out in anger
In fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry

Did you weep for the children
Who lost their dear loved ones
And pray for the ones who don't know
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
And sob for the ones left below

Did you burst out in pride
For the red white and blue
The heroes who died just doing what they do
Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer
And look at yourself to what really matters

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day
Teaching a class full of innocent children
Driving down some cold interstate
Did you feel guilty cause you're a survivor
In a crowded room did you feel alone
Did you call up your mother and tell her you love her
Did you dust off that bible at home
Did you open your eyes and hope it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep
Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages
Speak with some stranger on the street
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
Go out and buy you a gun
Did you turn off that violent old movie you're watching
And turn on "I Love Lucy" reruns
Did you go to a church and hold hands with some stranger
Stand in line and give your own blood
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
Thank God you had somebody to love

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

The greatest is love
The greatest is love

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day

September 11, 2002 is a day that we will never forget. Where were you? I was sitting in my PE class in the ninth grade watching channel one when the news came. In just a split second millions of lives were changed. I remember being so scared and confused. Wondering how someone could do such a thing. How could they hurt so many innocent people? I am so grateful for all those who protect our freedom, for the sacrifices they make for us. For the sacrifice of there family. For there willingness to fight for our Country. I am proud to be an American!

Tag

Our Sweet Dog of 12 years passed away on September 4, 2010. I remember the day that we got Tag. I was so little. My mom surprised my Dad with a cute little Yellow Lab. I remember chasing him around the yard that day. We just couldn't get enough of him. Tag was such an awesome dog! I didn't realize how much I loved him until I sat with him the night before and watched him struggle to breath. He was just another member of the family. He will be greatly missed!

Labor Day

For Labor Day our family went and got our Seven Peaks, Trafalga, and Owls game passes. We then went to J Dawgs which is delicious by the way. If you like hot dogs you will love it. We then decided to go to Trafalga and were going to Lasor Tag, but the wait was two hours so we decided to play Miniature golf. We had such a great time.
The Whole Gang
So this was the highlight of our day. On about hole 12 my dad got a hole in one, but the ball got stuck in this little house. So Easton was trying to see if he could see the ball and the window came open. His face was priceless if I might add. So Kyle talked him into climbing in and getting the balls.
Here he is getting the balls. Well cute little E had to pee so bad. I thought that he was going to die. So Kyle being the great Brother in Law that he is told him just to pee. So what does Easton do? He listens to Kyle of course and he Pees in the cute little house. I think at that point we were all going to pee our pants from laughing so hard!
Oh Easton what would we ever do without you? You are always making us laugh! We sure love you!
Mom after she got a Hole in One

Mandy left for Snow College two weeks ago. We miss her like crazy! She is loving it though, and we are so happy for her. We were excited that she came home for the weekend so we could see her!
Shea and KJ
Jensen adding up all of our scores. I believe the order was Dad, Jensen, Mandy, Kyle, Mom, Jordyn, Easton, and Shea

We had such a great day together! I am so grateful for my family and for the great times that we have with each other. We have such a strong love for each other! I love them all so much! Thanks for the fun day!
