The Journey of Running

I am training for a 1/2 Marathon in August and the other day I decided to run down Provo Canyon. My mom who is my running buddy couldn't make it with me so I went by myself. I was a little hesitant to go by myself, but it actually gave me a time to think, and was a great experience. While running I kept thinking of our journey through life and how it is just like a race. I ran up hill and down hill. This is so much like our journey through life. We go through the ups and downs, but if we rely on our Heavenly Father, and the Savior we can make it to the finish line. In running I wouldn't be able to make it without proper shoes, my Ipod, and water. Just like in life there are certain things that we couldn't make it to the finish line such as the atonement, the scriptures, prayer, sacrament, family, friends, our Savior and the list goes on and on. There were times when I was running that I wanted to give up and stop, but I knew that I needed to make it to the end. In life sometimes it gets hard and we want to stop, but we have to just keep going and never give up. We have to remember that we have a loving Heavenly Father who is always there for us. Who knows us by name, and knows everything about us, and is willing to do whatever he can to help us reach that finish line. I finished my twelve mile run that day and look forward to finishing the Journey of this Life!

I took my phone because I was running by myself and while running I passed Bridalveil Falls and had to take a picture. It was beautiful, and was such a testament that there is a Heavenly Father out there who created such a beautiful world.

E and Jax

So the other day I drove Devyn up to Heber to give one of her friends a birthday present. We dragged Jaxon and Easton along with us. We stopped at the gas station before we left and got them a drink and a treat. Well they both drank there 32 oz drink within thirty minutes, and both had to pee so bad. So they kept begging me to stop and let them pee off the side of the road. We finally got far enough away from some houses so I gave in and let them go pee. I couldn't resist taking a picture of them. It was hilarious! They both got in the car and Easton said, " Jord you are serioulsy the coolest sister ever!" It made me laugh to think that I was pretty cool for letting them pee off the side of the ride!! Gotta love these two boys!

Justin Bieber Concert

This last weekend I took my four cute cousins to the Justin Bieber concert. We had such a great time!!
He flew around and danced in this ball. He had so many great things to entertain the fans.
Poor Meg made a mess. She spilled all down the row, but did a great job cleaning it up.

He has some serious dance skills, along with some great back up dancers
Waiting for Justin Bieber to come out!

Tay, Chez, and Meg

Sean Kingston opened for him, and was so incredible. He was really fun to watch. They sang a song together as well once Justin Bieber came out.

He flew around the whole crowd in this heart and sang a couple slow songs. I am five years older then him and I still thought it was pretty dang cute!!

Tayla, Chez, and Meg

Me, and Tessa
We had a great time standing next to eachother during the concert. We danced the whole time. I don't think my cousins realized what great dance moves I had!

The concert was full of teenage girls who were madly in love in Justin Bieber. By the end of the concert we were all completly deaf. He was such a great entertainer, and a great dancer. My cousins are sure cute they stood the whole time and danced. They were all so excited! I am so grateful for darling cousins who I adore!! They are such fun loving girls and are so appreciative. Eclipse

Me and Jenna

Me, Dev, Jadyn, and Jenna

Me and Dev have a tradition of going at midnight to see the twilight movies. It is so much fun! We have both read the books, and loved them! Eclipse is the third book and by far has been the best movie out of the three. They are really cheesy but so good at the same time. Jacob if I might add is beautiful. So staring at him for two hours is great and well worth it. We had a GREAT time!!

Happy Birthday Easton

Ten things that I love about Easton

I love it when he wants something and his puppy face comes out and all you can do is laugh and give in.

I love how great he is at sports. You can tell that he has two older brothers.

I love it it when he gets laughing and can't stop and before you know it everybody is laughing.

I love it when I come home from work and he runs up and gives me a hug.

I love it when he wants to wrestle me, and how he knows my weak spots.

I love it that he knows more about sports then I do.

I love it when he prays especially for the missionaries. He has such a sweet spirit.

I love that he has made the decision to be baptized.

I love that twenty minutes after we just ate dinner he is in the pantry looking for something else to eat.

I love it when he snuggles up to me to watch a movie.

I love how excited he got to open his presents. Oh to be a little kid again and not have a worry in the world.

J and E

Baby Graham

Baby Graham was blessed on July 4, 2010. What a great day it was! It was so great to be together as a family and see this baby receive a name and a blessing. It was amazing to see how big the circle was. How great is it that every priesthood holder in our family was worthy of being in that circle. I am so grateful for our amazing family, and for the love that we have for each other.

Lindsey's Birthday Party

So for Lindsey's birthday we decided to go up the canyon with a group of people and have a fire and just hang out. It was a lot of fun! Not a lot of people came, but it was still a blast!! We crossed the river, fell in the river, played some frisbee, had cake and ice cream, and had a fire. It was a blast!! It was a good start to our summer. I am so grateful to have a friend like Lindsey that it doesn't matter where we are we can always have a good time!!
So Chaz had this bright idea to go and cross these logs in the river. Let's just say that me and Linds do no have the best balance. I bet you can guess who fell in.....
Yup that would be me!! I was soaked!!
